“It happened on a Sunday in December 2011. We went to see a show. We had a good time. Little did we know that behind the wall a swat team was listening to every move we made.”
All joking aside, the above more or less summarises the evening. Just seconds after Cassis Cornutta ended his set, a police team entered the venue, confiscated the amp and manu militari took Oli with them, demonstrating some very impolite behaviour. A bummer ending of what would otherwise have been a perfect evening. Needless to say that for the time being next editions of Don’t Cum are put on hold.
Some pictures of the evening can be found below – Margriet Kicks-ass unfortunately had to cancel, and was last-minute replaced by Portable Noise Kremator. No pictures of that set, for the obvious reason I can’t play and take pictures at the same time.
In order of appearance: back to doom noise shitty (Portable Noise Kremator), dizzy synth drones (Dream Beverly Hills), sharp tape ‘n voice loops (Vom Grill), clunky tube droppings and heavy blasts (Cassis Cornuta). Then in came the cops for a surprise act.
Looking forward for the video-material to surface one day or another on youTube, so whoever it was that filmed that evening: do step forward.
